MDIS Tashkent’s contribution to the further development of Tourism industry

Accurately set and well organised Tourism plays a key role in composing high GDP and is considered as a valuable industry contributing to the wellbeing of the country. In accordance with approved a number of events and programmes to further development of tourism industry of Uzbekistan, plus in terms of attracting and increasing numbers of visitors to the country there were undertaken a great deal of actions, particularly over 400.

Due to the Minutes of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Meeting # 01-14/1-299 dated December 27, 2011 Uzbekistan is facing to a new era of tourism industry so it is needed to be prepared to a new inspirations and challenges. The issue of qualified specialists plays very important role in that matter. Therefore it was decided to launch sufficient, effective and efficient short and long term training programmes particularly for tourism industry specialists. It was quite an honour and huge responsibility for MDIS Tashkent team to be entitled to organise such training programmes.

We are proud to declare that the activities for the further development of tourism industry will commence in February 10th, 2012. There will be held Tourism career day, where potential employees and employers of the current industry will have an opportunity to acquaint and consider mutual professional alliances. Moreover the regions visits will be followed by short term trainings in March, 2012.

Training courses programmes are completely composed by MDIS Tashkent academic stuff and training will be held together with foreign lecturers of the institution.

We do believe that nurturing and training qualified specialists for the industry will give its positive outcome in short period of time.

The Training for English Teachers 2012

On the 23rd of January 2012 the new season of MDIS Tashkent Training programme for English Teachers will be launched. Current Training the Trainers programme was implemented in 2011 for the first time and gave its quite positive yields already. From January 23rd till 28th including the training participants - the English language teachers from varied regions of Uzbekistan will  have an opportunity to improve their teaching skills and be guided to sharpen their knowledge overall. The current project is the social one, which is entirely organised and supported by MDIS Tashkent. The main purpose is contributing to further development of quality education in Academic Lyceums and Professional Colleges of Uzbekistan.
